At Triangle Community Foundation we work with dedicated donors and strong nonprofits to guide gifts in a strategic way that fills in gaps, reduces inequities, and solves the region’s most pressing issues.

Founded in 1983 with an initial gift of $1,000 from Dr. George Hitchings, today the Foundation has over 40 years of experience helping to build a more vibrant community. By listening intently to our partners and taking a broad view, we are uniquely positioned to identify challenges, support the most important needs, and shape a brighter future for generations to come.
