The sample language below permits the greatest flexibility and convenience to your client. Triangle Community Foundation staff will work with your client to outline their charitable intentions in a fund agreement which will be on record at our office and can be easily changed over time.
Bequests
The Fund or Funds held at Triangle Community Foundation (the “Foundation”), I give, devise, and bequeath the sum of __________ Dollars (or all or a stated percentage of the remainder), to be administered by the Foundation in accordance with the Fund Agreement(s) or Memoranda signed by me and held by the Foundation in its records.
Trusts
The Fund or Funds held at Triangle Community Foundation (the “Foundation”), the trustee shall distribute the sum of ______________ Dollars (or all or a stated percentage of net income or principal) to be administered by the Foundation in accordance with the Fund Agreement(s) or Memoranda signed by me and held by the Foundation in its records.
Beneficiary Designations
The Fund or Funds held at Triangle Community Foundation (the “Foundation”), I hereby designate _________ percent of the value of my account upon my death to be administered by the Foundation in accordance with the Fund Agreement(s) or Memoranda signed by me and held by the Foundation in its records.
