About Jennifer

Jen serves as Director of Marketing & Communications, overseeing all communications that support the mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of the Foundation.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jen managed communications for several Triangle-based nonprofits, including The Hunt Institute and North Carolina PTA, as well as volunteered with Kidznotes, overseeing their brand repositioning. Additionally, Jen has experience in higher education marketing at both Cornell University and The University of Wisconsin, and in consumer products marketing at Unilever.

Jen received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and MBA from Cornell University. Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2011 she lived and worked primarily in New York City and upstate New York. Jen currently lives in Durham with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
