About Laurel

As a Donor Services Officer, Laurel works with fundholders to achieve the impact they want to see in the community. She aims to provide quality connections to the causes donors want to support and the organizations in the Triangle doing the work. Laurel is also the key resource for database management at the Foundation.

Laurel grew up in the sunshine state of Florida and moved to North Carolina in 2009 after graduating from New College of Florida, the public Honors College of Florida.  Throughout her career, she has worked with organizations that make the world a more just and abundant place. Most recently, she was the Operations Manager at SEEDS. Since moving to the Triangle, she has volunteered with numerous nonprofits. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Weaver Community Housing Association.

In her free time, she can be found establishing a food forest in her backyard, finding as many books as she can get her hands on, and reading them to her daughter.
