Triangle Community Foundation in Action | Hurricane Helene
Community foundations are uniquely positioned as trusted resources when disaster strikes. Countless times over the years the Foundation has sprung into action when support is needed - during COVID-19 shutdowns and the pause in SNAP benefits are just two examples. When Hurricane Helene devastated western North Carolina in September 2024, the Foundation worked with community foundations in western North Carolina to mobilize support.
