Scholarships range in eligibility criteria, so once you log into the scholarship portal, you will be prompted to take an eligibility quiz to discover which scholarships you qualify for.

Achievement Scholarship for Refugees and Immigrants of Wake County
First-generation U.S. citizens, refugees, or immigrants, residents of Wake County, North Carolina who have completed at least one academic year at a high school in Wake County. High school seniors at the time of the application with a GPA of 2.5 or greater, planning to pursue a degree as a full-time student at an accredited public, private, or technical college or university in NC, and able to demonstrate family financial need.

Graduating African-American male senior from a Durham or Orange County High School, must demonstrate a strong determination and desire to succeed.

Carol Ann Beerstecher Nursing Scholarship
Resident of Chatham, Durham, Orange, Wake or Person County, North Carolina for at least 12 months, current nursing student or have been admitted to a nursing program at an accredited institution in North Carolina offering an associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing. Must have a proven financial need and maintain 2.0 grade point average.

A scholarship available to graduating seniors from Apex High School who plan to attend a competitive university majoring in Engineering, Business or Math.

Graduating seniors from Durham County. Must be accepted into any public or private university or college and have a minimum grade of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale with demonstrated family financial need; preference for students pursuing health-related careers.

Felicia Brewer Opportunity Scholarship
This scholarship's purpose is to create a life-transforming opportunity for immigrant or first generation students who have overcome significant adversity, giving them the opportunity to pursue their dreams and improve their lives through education or training. George H. Hitchings New Investigator Award in Health Research
Be in their second year of doctoral study at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine at the time of the application and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career path in academic teaching and research.

iContact Foundation Scholarship
1) Have been employed by iContact at any time, 2) be the child (biological, foster, adopted, or step) of an iContact employee at any time, or 3) be a person living in Chatham, Durham, Orange, or Wake county who is majoring in computer science, business or entrepreneurship, economics, or marketing and communications. Scholarship recipients are selected based on demonstrated financial need, community involvement and leadership, and academic merit.
