Scholarships for Students

First-generation U.S. citizens, refugees, or immigrants, residents of Wake County, North Carolina who have completed at least one academic year at a high school in Wake County. High school seniors at the time of the application with a GPA of 2.5 or greater, planning to pursue a degree as a full-time student at an accredited public, private, or technical college or university in NC, and able to demonstrate family financial need.

Graduating African-American male senior from a Durham or Orange County High School, must demonstrate a strong determination and desire to succeed.

Resident of Chatham, Durham, Orange, Wake or Person County, North Carolina for at least 12 months, current nursing student or have been admitted to a nursing program at an accredited institution in North Carolina offering an associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing. Must have a proven financial need and maintain 2.0 grade point average.

Be a graduating senior at Brevard High School or Rosman High School in Transylvania County, NC. Must plan to continue education at an accredited public university, community college, or trade school within NC and demonstrate family financial need.

A scholarship available to graduating seniors from Apex High School who plan to attend a competitive university majoring in Engineering, Business or Math.

Graduating seniors from Durham County. Must be accepted into any public or private university or college and have a minimum grade of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale with demonstrated family financial need; preference for students pursuing health-related careers.

This scholarship's purpose is to create a life-transforming opportunity for immigrant or first generation students who have overcome significant adversity, giving them the opportunity to pursue their dreams and improve their lives through education or training. Be in their second year of doctoral study at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine at the time of the application and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career path in academic teaching and research.

Supporting women medical students who are interested in pursuing health-related research projects. Students must have an interest in health research, and must have the support of a faculty mentor.

Reside in Chatham, Durham, Orange, or Wake counties for a minimum of one year; attend a public state university or community college in NC and demonstrate the potential to succeed despite adversity as well as an exceptional desire to improve himself or herself through further education or training.

1) Have been employed by iContact at any time, 2) be the child (biological, foster, adopted, or step) of an iContact employee at any time, or 3) be a person living in Chatham, Durham, Orange, or Wake county who is majoring in computer science, business or entrepreneurship, economics, or marketing and communications. Scholarship recipients are selected based on demonstrated financial need, community involvement and leadership, and academic merit.

Be graduating high school seniors at Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC, plan to pursue a 4-year degree as a full time student at any accredited public or private college or university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrated family financial need.
