Scholarships for Students

Graduating high school seniors or alumni from Jordan-Matthews High School or Chatham Early College (formerly Sage Academy) who will be first-time college students at a public college or university in North Carolina in the coming fall.

Students in Orange, Wake, Durham, Chatham or Alamance counties who are working at least part-time while in school and have demonstrated financial need

The Caroline Laundon Memorial Fund at Triangle Community Foundation provides scholarships to graduating East Chapel Hill athletes to attend their chosen university.

The ALMAC Scholarship Fund is being created out of a desire to give back to the communities in which ALMAC employees live and work. The ALMAC Scholarship Fund of Triangle Community Foundation will support 1st-year college students in the Triangle region pursuing 4-year degrees at a North Carolina public college or university. The desire of ALMAC is to provide selected students with career guidance, connection to current employees, and insight into the industry.

Triangle Community Foundation recognizes the immense potential and abilities of the Triangle’s students, and believes that the future of our region depends on them. This scholarship will award one high school senior and one adult learner who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to improving their community through volunteer work, work experience, and/or future aspirations and plans

Awarded to second year MD or DO students or first-year Physician Assistant students who identify as underrepresented minorities and are attending school in North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, or Georgia and either is an NC resident or intends to practice medicine in North Carolina upon completion of their program

Be current seniors or alumni of Sanderson High School in Wake County, NC, including the Sanderson Evening Program seeking their first associate's or bachelor's degree, or short-term (non-degree) credential program at community colleges. Must demonstrate financial need and have a 2.0 GPA. Preference for refugee and immigrant students

Students in Wake County seeking a 2- or 4-year degree at a public or private university. Students should demonstrate financial need, strong academic merit, and a desire to empower themselves through education.

Reside in Chatham, Durham, Orange, or Wake counties; be enrolled in two year degree or technical degree program at Durham Tech, Wake Tech, or Central Carolina Community College; demonstrate hard work, generosity, and financial need. Preference for single mothers and/or refugees/immigrants.
