Tandra Byrd

Tandra Byrd joined Triangle Community Foundation in May 2026 as a Philanthropic Engagement Associate after building a career in education, nonprofit development, and community engagement. She previously served as a Career and Technical Education instructor with Wake County Public Schools and held fundraising and operational roles with organizations including Black Girls Code and NC Counts Coalition, where she developed experience in philanthropy, grant management, and strategic partnerships.

A Raleigh native, Tandra earned her bachelor’s degree from The Art Institute and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Outside of work, Tandra enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending concerts, discovering new restaurants, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. A self-proclaimed foodie and lifelong sports fan, she loves exploring new cultures, experiences, and communities wherever she goes.
