About Phil

Phil Lambert is the former board chair and chief executive officer of Wikoff Color Corporation, a manufacturer of printing inks and coatings for the packaging, tag & label, commercial, security, digital and other print markets. Wikoff’s headquarters, tech center and main manufacturing operation are in the Charlotte area and it has multiple small manufacturing and service locations primarily in the US and Canada. Phil had a major role in helping Wikoff become an employee-owned company and in the expansion of the company’s business into Canada and the UK. He earned a B.S. in business administration and accounting from UNC, began his professional career with Ernst & Ernst and is a former CPA.

Phil is a board member and a former board chair of StepUp North Carolina and a former board chair of The Family Center, a Charlotte nonprofit that is now part of Thompson Child & Family Focus. He has also served on the boards of StepUp Ministry and Communities in Schools of Wake County and has served on the UNC Board of Visitors.
