Matt is a semi-retired Trusts & Estates attorney with Wyrick Robbins Yates &. Ponton LLP.  His practice has been primarily wealth transfer planning, tax planning and trust and estate administration. As part of that practice, he has frequently been involved in charitable gift planning and creation of charitable foundations and trusts.  Matt is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the North Carolina State Bar. He received his B.A., with honors, from Wake Forest University and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Matt lives with his wife near downtown Raleigh.  They have two adult children.
