Grantee Week Day 3 – Economic Resilience

For Day Three of Grantee Week we are highlighting the 15 nonprofit organizations receiving grants from the Economic Resilience grant program, which is focused on funding organizations providing support to adults of all ages seeking employment-focused education or skills-based training to access stable employment.
2025 grantees are nonprofit organizations that focus on the many barriers to accessing family-sustaining, stable employment, such as housing, food insecurity, transportation, healthcare, childcare, and the cost of necessary equipment (uniforms, tools, etc.).
Grantees are receiving $40,000 each, spread evenly over two years, in general operating support. Specific goals from this grant cycle are to:
- Increase the number of unemployed or underemployed individuals able to access the necessary education or skills-based training to gain a stable, family-sustaining job, and,
- Remove barriers that stand between individuals and these vital positions.
Congratulations to these 15 organizations!
