Purpose
The Five Outstanding Teenagers awards program accepts applications from Jaycee chapters on behalf of outstanding high school seniors (recently graduated and are starting college in the award year) who are well rounded in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and community service. The NC Jaycees will recognize the winners at the Mid-Year Convention in Roxboro.
Amount & Use of Funds
Varies
The scholarship may be used towards any need listed under the school’s total cost of attendance. The student is responsible for all other charges. This is a non-renewable scholarship.
Criteria
In order to be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Residency Requirements: Residents of North Carolina
- High School Restrictions: None
- Plan of Study Restrictions: None
Applicants must be associated with a local Jaycee chapter. If you are not currently associated, you may reach out to a chapter for sponsoring. Please see the application to locate your local chapter
