About Karly

Karly serves the Foundation as Donor Engagement Associate, and is responsible for the portfolios of a multitude of Donor-Advised Funds. Karly serves as the first point of contact for external inquiries related to Donor Services. Karly also assists with grant recipient research, fund related questions, and grants processing.

Prior to her work at the Foundation, Karly worked with Girls on the Run of the Triangle and the Community Empowerment Fund. In both roles, Karly was able to uplift her passion for community and individual capacity building. Throughout her years of work, Karly has focused on justice initiatives in the areas of housing, mental health, and food insecurity.

Karly comes to the Triangle from Washington D.C. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her B.A. in Sociology and African American studies with a minor in Social & Economic Justice. In her spare time, Karly enjoys exploring all the nature trails the Triangle has to offer, trying new restaurants with friends, and reading.
