MSW Intern

About Erin

As a MSW Intern, Erin assists our Scholarships and Donor Services Officer to manage scholarship applications and outreach. She also will be evaluating best practices for scholarship applications and learning every facet of the foundation. She works to provide safe, supportive and efficient systems for students.

Erin grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and moved to Raleigh in 2014 to attend Meredith College. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work and Public Health in May 2018. Shortly after graduation, she joined the Wolfpack and began her graduate studies at North Carolina State University in the Master of Social Work program.

Erin previously interned at a pediatric office raising awareness about mental health in our community and engaging clients with intervention activities focused on coping skills. Before that, Erin interned at the Salvation Army Center where she implemented educational programs for adolescents focused on emotional support and self-care. Erin is excited to be a part of the Triangle Community Foundation family this year and learn more about scholarships and nonprofits.

In her free time, Erin loves to travel. She says studying abroad in Sansepolcro, Italy her junior year of college has been her favorite trip thus far! She also looks forward to the N.C. State Fair every year!
