Innovation Award Pitch Day

February 9, 2016

Are you energized by new ideas? Do you thrive off of creativity? Does nonprofit storytelling tug at your heartstrings?

If so, the Innovation Award Pitch Day is for you! This grant program, tied to our annual What Matters community luncheon, incorporates a live pitch element in addition to a traditional grant proposal. We invite you to be a part of this unique opportunity to engage with some of the Triangle’s most passionate nonprofit professionals as they pitch their latest idea to solve a community issue.

What: Innovation Award Pitch Day
When: March 17, 2016, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Where: NC Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Road Raleigh, NC 27607
How: If you are familiar with the TV show Shark Tank, this event functions much in the same way. Our finalist nonprofit collaboratives will pitch their ideas in front of a live audience – that’s you.  A panel of community leaders serving as our “sharks” will have five minutes to ask each collaborative questions following their pitch. At the conclusion of all pitches, the committee will meet privately to deliberate and select one winner who receives $25,000 in funding. The winner will be announced and we will enjoy light refreshments to celebrate everyone’s hard work!

The event is free, but we ask that you register via: http://bit.ly/1RRaLRu

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Rachel Aiken (rachel@trianglecf.org). We hope you will join us for this fun afternoon!
