2017 Innovation Award Pitch Day

January 3, 2017

Are you energized by new ideas? Do you thrive off of creativity? Does nonprofit storytelling tug at your heartstrings?

We invite you to be our LIVE audience!

The selection committee has chosen five finalists that will compete for this year’s $25,000 Innovation Award, presented at What Matters: Our Kids on April 26, 2017. Out of 40 applications, these five collaborations were selected for their innovative, creative, and change-provoking ideas. They will pitch their projects to  YOU on Pitch Day, March 30, and the winner will be announced LIVE that day. We invite you to read more about the projects, and stay tuned for videos of their work.

What: Innovation Award Pitch Day!
When: March 30, 2017, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Where: The Foundation office, 800 Park Offices Drive, Suite 201, Research Triangle Park
How: Our finalist nonprofit collaboratives will pitch their ideas in front of a live audience – that’s you.  A panel of esteemed community leaders serving as our judges will have five minutes to ask each collaborative questions following their pitch. At the conclusion of all pitches, the committee will meet privately to deliberate and select one winner who will receive $25,000 in funding. The winner will be announced and we will enjoy light refreshments to celebrate everyone’s hard work!
