"When I think of legacy, I think of something left behind." - Lori O'Keefe, President

You have a vision for the future of our region, and we can help you make that happen.

Planned giving does not require a large income or vast estate, but only a thoughtful intention to make a difference in your community. Many of our legacy donors have created bequests, charitable trusts, or gifts of life insurance to the Foundation, and we’d be happy to help you navigate that process alongside your professional advisor.

Leaving a legacy and becoming a member of our Hitchings Legacy Society can be as simple as informing Triangle Community Foundation of your intention to make a gift.

If you are interested in making a legacy gift, please click here to fill out our Legacy Gift Form to provide basic information.

If you have already promised a legacy gift to the Foundation through your estate planning, please click here to fill out the Legacy Intent Letter so that we can better understand your philanthropic values and goals.

We encourage you to complete both forms as they capture different and pertinent information which allows the Foundation to best honor your legacy in the future. Once you have submitted the form(s), one of our staff members will be in touch with you to discuss your legacy gift.

We recognize and honor the generous donors who have made plans through their estate to give back to the community through the Foundation. We are grateful for your foresight, dedication, and philanthropic spirit to benefit the Triangle region for generations to come.
