About Shelli

Shelli Grogg is a Shannon St. John Fellow for the summer of 2017. She is working with the Community Engagement Team to investigate how Triangle Community Foundation can effectively share community knowledge. Additionally, she is supporting the development of donor education events for the coming year. She is excited to build upon her past work in the nonprofit field while at the Foundation, learning about donor development and community engagement.

Shelli is a graduate student at UNC Chapel Hill receiving both a Masters of Public Administration and a Certificate in Health Disparities. Within the MPA program Shelli is the co-president of the Carolina Society of Future Leaders, and head of the Social Committee. In her spare time Shelli loves staying active with practicing yoga, running, and exploring the hiking trails in the area. She also enjoys reading, movie marathons, and trying out new recipes.

Ways Shelli gives back:

  1. Volunteering in the community
  2. Supporting local farmers and businesses
  3. Giving to her favorite charities
