Rutina (Tina) Bailey, Grant Administrator, is responsible for the managing the Foundation’s database, conducting due diligence on grantees, and developing the internal grant processes. Rutina assists the staff in the development of procedures to protect and maximize the Foundation’s data. Rutina also works with closely with nonprofits to insure proper IRS status and documentation.
Before joining the Foundation, Rutina assisted in the establishment of several 501 c(3) organizations. She has written grants for the private sector as well as the governmental agencies to enhance youth development. She has a passion for youth, in specific teen mothers.
Rutina is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Kaplan University with a degree in Business Management with a focus on Sales and Marketing. Rutina received her certificate in nonprofit management and development from Duke University. Rutina served on the Save Our Youth Board for four years and implemented several programs for youth in Holly Springs, NC. During her tenure with the Town of Holly Springs Community Development Department she assisted with implementation of the Community Revitalization Grant and assisted in the development of a low income subdivision in the township.
Rutina enjoys reading and writing. She is a published author of literature focused on empowerment and personal development. In her spare time you will find Rutina mentoring young ladies in the community and sponsoring workshops to enhance personal growth and self-development.
