As the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Foundation, Meg manages all communications, media relations, and marketing with the goal of better communicating the impact and value of the Foundation to our community.
Meg came to the Foundation in 2012 with extensive experience in non-profit marketing and development. She previously worked for several large organizations, including The Boston Foundation, Meredith College, and United Way of the Greater Triangle. She has created several strategic marketing and communications plans during her career, and has also managed PR, executed the design of several websites, and written for many audiences. She taught at the collegiate level, and started her career as a print journalist for a daily newspaper in Western Massachusetts. Meg received her Bachelor’s degree from Westfield State College and her Master’s degree from Suffolk University in Boston.
Meg lives in Knightdale with her husband, son, and crazy dog. In her free time, she enjoys being outside on a long hike, spending time in the mountains of NC, writing, and working on DIY projects.
