Jessica is the Director of Community Investment for Triangle Community Foundation. In this role, she oversees programs, research, and partnerships that address the immediate needs and complex challenges facing the Triangle region. She is also responsible for strategy, evaluation and communications for the Foundation. Jessica has nearly 20 years of experience in philanthropy, higher education, the arts, and community economic development.
She has served on the board of directors for the Institute of Political Leadership, NC Center for Women in Public Service, the Wilkins Corporation, NC State Theatre Endowment, and Chapel Hill Cooperative Preschool; and on advisory committees for NC Network of Grantmakers, Forward Cities & the Durham Innovation Council, Triangle J Council of Governments, United Way of the Greater Triangle, and Kidznotes.
Jessica holds a masters degree in public administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and a bachelor of arts from the University of Virginia. She is a recipient of the Triangle Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 Award and Business Leader Magazine’s Women Extraordinaire Award, and she is a Leadership Triangle Goodmon Fellow and a Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro Fellow.
She and her husband David live in Chapel Hill and are the proud parents of two young children.
